We propose a Monte Carlo model for the evolution of two-phase alloy grain structure under electromigration, taking into account the redistribution of the current and potential after each atomic jump. Patterns of grain structure evolution during the reaction of nickel with liquid tin and of the inhomogeneity evolution in the spinodal decomposition have been obtained. The models of nucleation in nanosystems based on account of depletion in the bulk and segregation at the free surface have been developed. They can be also applied to the nucleation at grain boundaries of binary bulk nanocrystalline alloys.
