New effective techniques for generation of partially coherent fields with controllable singularity parameters, as well as detecting and diagnostic techniques for such singularities have been elaborated. The main result of the project, which would have significant applied impact, consists in determination of the efficiency of the use of the developed techniques in problems of complex optical fields' metrology, non-destructive optical diagnostics of polarization inhomogeneous objects (including the most of natural multiscattering objects), and diagnostics rough surfaces with roughness parameters, for which conventional techniques are of less efficiently or even inapplicable.
