Results: The analysis of the regulatory requirements of Ukrainian legislation to establish the size of supervision zones of nuclear power plants was performed. The approaches to establish the size of supervision zones used in the legislation of other countries were considered (on the example of Russian Federation). Methods for determining the size of the supervision zones for NPPs were developed. The developed methods were implemented in the draft recommendations to determine the size and boundaries of supervision zones of NPPs.
