The methods of regio- or stereoselective calixarene functionalization were elaborated, in particular the approach to the synthesis of the inherently chiral calix[4]arenes with asymmetrically macrocyclic skeleton substitution was worked out and the effective method of the obtaining of optically pure inherently chiral calixarene carboxylic acids and its amides was proposed. The optically pure derivatives of chiral calixarenes were obtained and their physical-chemical properties, spatial structure and absolutely configuration were investigated by means of X-ray analysis, NMR and IR-spectroscopy.
