Research objective is search for biologically active substances showing herbicide, growth regulating, root stimulating and antidote properties, and also purposeful search for selective metabolism regulators among new organic compounds synthesized in the laboratories of the IOCh, NASU. Synthetic, physical-chemical, physiological, bio-chemical, genetic and toxicological investigation methods have been used to cope with the tasks. Executed work resulted in 170 new organic substances primary laboratory tests. The results of laboratory tests allowed to select 30 active compounds presenting growth regulating, root stimulating and herbicide properties. A series of new structures has been studied in search of antidote and synergistic activity towards modern industrial herbicides. Active preparations have been studied in wide vegetative tests on tests-plants with considerations of effective concentrations. The analysis of the received results allowed to determine perspective classes of the substances for the further synthesis of active analogs. Tests of new derivatives of dinitroanilines as modifiers of herbicides activity, action mechanism of which is connected with inhibition of acetyl-CoA-carboxylase synthesis, have been conducted with participation of the scientists from the Institute of Physiology and Genetics of Plants. A high antidote and synergistic activity of the composition of dinitroanilines and herbicides Furore-super, Fuzilad-forte, Axial (Pinoxaden) has been shown.
