A number of biotech plants with tuberculosis antigens genes were created. Tobacco, sugar beets, alfalfa plants with herbicide (Roundup and Pursuit) resistance were obtained. Some biochemical characterictics such as accumulation of reserve sugars (inulin), antioxidant activity, activity of antioxidant enzymes, photosynthetic pigments content in transgenic plants were investigated.
