Purpose – to establish requirements for quality and consistency of technological operations in growing seedlings of tomato, pepper, eggplant, to ensure product quality, work safety for human life and health, environmental protection, reduction of product losses and increased production efficiency. The report outlined the main provisions of national standards with technology growing seedlings of tomato, pepper, eggplant in cassettes. The basis of a draft standard developed by the responsible best practices and advances in science, the recommendations of the Institute of Vegetable and Melon-Growing and other academic institutions that provide a high quality seedlings of tomato, pepper, eggplant in cassettes. Developed standard interconnected with the existing regulations on environmental protection, labor safety during all manufacturing operations for growing seedlings in cassettes. Development of national standards of Ukraine on the technology of growing seedlings of tomato, pepper, eggplant in cassettes based on scientifically based technology of growing seedlings using the optimum amount of substrate, the minimum supply of plant protection pathogens organisms, irrigation, etc. that meet the modern level of science and technology. Work on standards development process with growing seedlings of tomato, pepper, eggplant in cassettes was carried out in accordance with specification. The construction, presentation and content of the technological task of drafting normative document comply with ISO 1.2-2003. Object described standards as normative document, which governs seedling production technology of tomato, pepper, eggplant in trays, helps to ensure a high quality seedlings. The novelty of research in developed standards for the technology of growing seedlings of tomato, pepper, eggplant in cassettes is that he brought into line with international standards and to the modern requirements of consumers and the state system of standardization. Standard in Ukraine developed the first time and after giving him a force to be applied in the farms of Ukraine of all forms of ownership, which produce seedlings of tomato, pepper, eggplant in cassettes.
