To increase security of the process of storing sensitive data is the purpose. To perform the tasks have been used a basis of cryptography and algebraic theory of block ciphers for research of block cipher, statistical analysis to research the cryptographic strength of a symmetric block encryption methods. We propose a method for symmetric block cipher based on arithmetic operations which uses the block keys, causing increased resistance to the methods of linear and differential cryptanalysis. The proposed modes of keys chaining that increase the cryptographic security of the encryption process, while providing a structure hiding the information which to be protected. The software tool for cryptographic protection of information was developed, which allows to encrypt information in one of the offered modes of keys chaining, using the programming language C + +. Research results incorporated into the process of secure storage of confidential data LLC "VIATEL", which contained on computer media. The obtained research results related to cryptographic protection of information and can be used in encryption and data processing systems for communication and data storage.
