Goal of investigation - improvement of epidemiologic surveillance on rubella, meningococcal infection and pertussis, improvement of quality of vacccinoprophylaxis against the aforementioned infections by improvement of the tactics of their specific prevention. Methods of investigation: epidemiologic, clinical supervision, immunological, statistical. The necessity of improvement of epidemiologic surveillance on rubella and pertusssis was proved, and also the necessity of improvement of quality of planned vaccination against rubella and implementation of vaccination against pertussis using accelular vaccines were proved. Modern manifestations of epidemic process of rubella and pertussis were revealed, vaccination coverage rates for children were determined for these infections. The pecularities of dynamics of epidemic process of rubella and pertussis were revealed. The necessity of improvement of epidemiologic surveillance on rubella and the necessity of improvement of quality of planned vaccination against rubella, implementation of additional parameters for reestration of rubella cases were proved. Epidemiologic features of epidemic process of rubella, level of coverage of children by planned vaccinations against rubella and its positive influence on epidemic process were determined. The pecularities of dynamics of epidemic process of rubella in Ukraine in prevaccinal period (till 2000) and vaccinal period (2001-2009) were revealed. The directions of improvement of organization and carrying out of epidemiologic monitoring on rubella for introduction of seroepidemiological methods of investigation of manifestations of its epidemic process and additional introduction of rubella vaccine for persons who have less than two vaccinations were determined. The directions of improvement of organization and carrying out of epidemiologic monitoring on such controlled infections as rubella and pertussis for next introduction of seroepidemiologic methods of investigation of epidemic process of rubella and pertussis into medical practice were revealed. The results of SRW are planned to implement into epidemiologic surveillance on infections controlled by ,eans of immunization and into educational process in high medical educational institutions.
