Analytical model for formation of stress-deformed state of rock mass in the process of second working in a separate seam is developed that takes into account deformation properties and rheological behavior of rocks and links stressed and deformed state of rock mass. Mathematical modeling of penetration processes and prediction of methane accumulations using 3D models and GIS-technologies are made. Based on these studies geomechanical model of industrial changes in permeability of rocks within the limits of worked areas of operating and closed mines is developed. By the results of conducted integrated geophysical investigations and analysis of data obtained by exploration boreholes geologic-geophysical model for formation of areas of methane accumulation within the limits of worked areas of operating and closed mines is developed.
