Mathematical and numerical simulation of the deformation processes in acting energetic equipments. Determination of the equipment exploitation resource with accounting for the material degradation, exploitation defects and repair influences. popup.stage_title Head Drobenko Bogdan, Registration Date 20-12-2011 Organization Pidstryhach Institute of Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 A research object is structural elements of power equipment: drums of caldrons high pressure; collectors of primary superheaters; choke bean sleeves of drums. A purpose of work is development of mathematical model, method and software to determine the stress-strain state of elements of operating power plant equipment, taking into account a degradation of material, operational damages and repair procedures, and get on this basis a quantitative estimation of equipment elements operational life and develop a repair recommendations to prolong of equipment exploitation terms. Research methods are methods of solid mechanics and computational mathematics. An approach for simulation of deformation processes of energetic equipment elements under in-service conditions is proposed on the basis of three-dimensional theory of unisothermal thermo-elastic-plasticity with the use of modern numeral methods. The approach takes into account the real shape of elements and geometrical parameters of operational damages or changes of shape in them after repair procedures and also changes of material properties in time. The proposed approach makes possible to more accurately (compared to existing approaches) quantify the stress-strain state in the damaged areas or in regions with technological extractions of material defects and, consequently, the operational life of power equipment in general. The stress-strain state of the collectors of primary superheaters, drums of caldrons high pressure and choke bean sleeves of drums with the repair extractions of material defects are analyzed. The rational geometrical parameters of zones with extraction of defects near openings of drum, which enable substantially lower level of stress concentration in areas with repair procedures, are determined. Functional dependences between stresses and the geometrical parameters of material extractions on chokes bean sleeves are constructed. They allow determine such values of these parameters at which stresses on chokes bean sleeves do not exceed an acceptable one. The possible causes of defects are analyzed in the equipment elements. Some recommendations are formulated on the basis of the results. They were used in technology of repair work in the Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant drum, the passport operational life of which is exhausted. The quantitative evaluation of the possibility of further operation of the drum was obtained. A comparative analysis of our results with those obtained for the existing industry methodology was done. It is shown that the refined calculations give results that are quantitatively and sometimes qualitatively different from those obtained using known engineering approaches. The proposed methodology, unlike existent industry ones, makes it possible to identify areas of the most credible appearance of defects and determine causes of their origin. The research results can be used to create new domestic industry standard technical documents to repair elements of existing power equipment. Product Description popup.authors Івасько Р.О.
