It is shown that the use of neuraminidases provides effective desialylation of intact and apoptotic cells. Artificial desialilation of intact and apoptotic cells facilitates their phagocytosis by macrophageal system of the organism. Within the framework of project a novel technology of artificial desialilation of apoptotic cells aimed to facilitate their phagocytosis by human macrophages was developed.
