The program of analytical researches has been started. According to this program, in 2011 there has been begun carrying out of series of microscopic X-ray fluorescence analysis of glazes and the petrographic analysis of forming weights (crocks). From the series started in manufacture results of the analysis of 56 samples are receive, expert estimation of these results allows to draw preliminary conclusions. The analyzed samples belonged to the class of high-leaded glazes, that consist of 2 groups on concentration of lead oxide, and samples with rather smaller concentration of lead oxide (with factor Q=PbO/SiO2 in the range from 1,0 to 2,0) numerically prevail. The smaller group is made glazes with the highest concentration of lead oxide (with factor Q> 2,0). Dyes of lead glazes of East Crimean ceramics were copper oxide (for reception of green color) and iron (for achievement of brown or yellow color, depending on its concentration). The pale-yellowish or pale-greenish shade of glaze (on unpainted sites) is the result of high-leaded composition of glaze, i.e. concentration of lead oxide, influenced on glaze color. Other criteria for division of investigated group both on chronology, and on quality of used raw materials are supposed also. However differences between the separate produced centers in East Crimean group (the cities of Kaffa, Soldajja, Solhat - present Feodosiya, Sudak, Stari Krim) it was not possible while to reveal. Probably, they will be shown after reception of results of the analysis of all series of the samples started in manufacture. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
