In a course of the work the derivatives of adamantyl(aryl)oxyaminopropanols possessing antiviral and antimicrobial activity were synthesized. The new approaches to the bisphosphonates bearing pharmacophoric groups were elaborated. The degradation in vivo of 5,5-dimethyl-4-methylene-3-(metha-chlorophenyl)-oxazoline-2-dione (AGB-31) was investigated and scheme of the metabolism was proposed. The general procedure to 2-phenacyl-1H-benzimidazoles and its HBr salts was validated. The method is based on the reaction of 2-methyl-1H-benzimidazoles with acylchlorides leads to tris N-, C-, O-acylated products with followed dezacylation under termal treatment with morpholine in buthanol. The new derivatives of phtalazine and it's heteroanalogue were obtained and the catalytic hydrogenation of the compounds synthesized was investigated.
