This collection will be the basis for further phylogenetic studies of horse strongylids. Twnenty-three strongylid species were collected from domestic donkeys - 3 strongylin species (Strongylinae) and 20 Cyethostome species tsyaostomin (Cyathostominae). Nine species of cyathostomes dominated in the strongylid community of donkeys. In Turkmenian kulans, 24 strongylid species from 9 genera were found - 6 species of Strongylinae and 18 species of Cyathoetominae. Eight cyathoetome species dominated in strongylid community. General structures of strongylid communities of the both equid species were multi-modal with the dominant, subdominant, background and rare species, which is characteristic for wild equid species. Reidentification of mature and larval forms of three strongylid species - Triodonthophorus serratus, T. nipponicus and Cyathostomum tetracanthum was performed using helminthological material from the collection of College of Natural Sciences, Hebei University, as well as identification the unidentified strongylid larvae. During the first phase of research project, we analyzed the peculiarities of various types of keeping conditions typical for domestic equids in Ukraine and China. Further studies of influence of different types of horse-keeping conditions on the biodiversity and general structure of strongylid community is necessary to elaborate new modern methods of horse strongylid control in the both countries.
