The paper finds out that when Ti is approx. 0.02 %, the amount of titanium nitrides reaches 103 units/cm2 in cast steel with 0.012 % - 0.014 % mass of N, while the greater Ti amounts causes inconsiderable titanium nitrides. However, the rate of coarse titanium carbonitrides increases that lessens their second level inoculanting effect. The influence of Ti microalloyng (0.002 % - 0.11% mass) on yield strength and impact resistance of ferritic-pearlitic electrical steels has an extreme character. The optimal Ti concentration is considered to be 0.015% - 0.030%. The paper determines that Ti microalloying (0.010% - 0.035%) of ferritic-pearlitic electrical steels provides the increase of yield strength in the normalized state at 30 MPa - 50MPa while high yield strength and plasticity are sustained after hardening and high tempering at 60 MPa - 150 MPa. Ti microalloying of ferritic-pearlitic electrical steels is determined to increase the average service life in 2.3 times and service life minimal level is increased in 1.7 times.
