Thus own optical characteristics of these polyurethane compounds were analyzed. Compatibility polyurethanes with different dyes has been determined also researches of spectroluminescent characteristics of the received media are carried out. It is established, that polyurethane media have an optical transparency in all a seen range of spectrum. As the activators dyes rhodamine 6G, rhodamine B, sulforhodamine 101, oxazine 17, oxazine 1, Nile blue and Cresyl Violet were tested. The optimum way of introduction of dyes in polyurethane media has been chosen experimentally and determined chemical compatibility of dyes with polyurethanes both at a stage of dissolution, and during polymerization of matrixes. It is established, that processes of dissolution and polymerization in all compounds maintain only rhodamine 6G, sulforhodamine 101, oxazine 17 and in part oxazine 1.This made it possible to develop the procedure of the creation of solid active media and to prepare the necessary samples for investigating their spectroluminescent characteristics. Investigations of the absorption and luminescence spectra of new laser media were made. It is established that the spectra of absorption and emission of the dyes, inculcated in the polymeric media are similar to their spectra in the fluid solutions. The experimental samples of laser matrices on the basis of different type commercial polyurethanes, activated by dyes, were created. Influence of the type of solid matrix on the optical properties of active medium and the spectral and energy characteristics of laser emission was investigated. It is shown that the active media on the basis of industrial polyurethane compounds can be used for creating the solid-state active elements for the lasers on the dyes, which radiate the pulses of microsecond duration.
