Goal of the research - to create new high emissive composite cathode materials, resistant to poisoning by oxygen containing gases, on the base of the experimental and theoretical developments of scientific background for new materials with expected physical properties. The report represents results on research and development of emission properties new composite cathode materials: BaxSr1-xHfO3-W, BaZrO3-W, SiC-B4C-LaB6, LuB2, LuB4, LuB12, ErB12. The highest thermionic current density of 390 A/cm2 was reached for material containing 76 % of Ba0.5Sr0.5HfO3 and 24 % of W under T=1950 K. Methodology for probe measurements in the discharge channel under high-voltage condition (SPD-20 experimental model) was developed. The investigations of the integral and erosion properties of MSPD at overvoltage discharge condition, as well as distributions of plasma parameters in the discharge channel MSPD were conducted. The results for the improvement and development of a new generation of accelerators, plasma generators, and the Hall-type space and technological purposes are reperesented in th report. Created and explored new design technology of ion sources for surface modification of aircraft engine parts. A mathematical model for the communication component coating composition at any point on the workpiece surface with the process parameters and design characteristics of the working area.
