The aim of the research is to elaborate scientific foundations and theoretical and methodological propositions for substantiating the selection of the ways of new world economic order formation, determining the architecture of the emerging new world economic order, reformation of the international financial and economic institutions which assure regulation, operation and development of the global market, to develop international norms for safeguarding from negative influence of transborder, regional and global phenomena destabilising the the financial stability of the world economy, and elaboration of the imperatives for assuring strategical priorities of Ukraine's participation in these processes. Methods of research - historical-logical; scientific generalisation; systems approach; induction, de-duction, comparison, systematisation; analysis and synthesis; dialectic method; institutional method; unity of theory and practice; structural and dynamic analysis; analogy; cluster analysis; corelation and regression analysis; economic-statistical methods. Major results and their novelty: a theoretical generalisation of the conceptual inconsistencies in the traditional interpretation of globalisation was performed; scientific recommendations regarding the essence and specifics of the semantic and theoretical-methodological relationship between the categories of 'globalisation', 'eco-nomic globalisation', and 'world economic order' were formulated; a theoretical paradigm of the new economic order was substantiated; theoretical and methodological approaches to analysis of the paradigmatic shifts in the globla eco-nomic and world-civilisational processes have been elaborated; major problem areas of forming the new world eco-nomic order were identified; major issues of developing the doctrine of national interests of Ukraine were defined; methodical recommendations regarding the analysis of the fundamental concepts of the world order and its aim, as well as major tasks of forming the new model of the world economic order were elaborated.
