These mechanisms are due to defect states and contribution of local fields in silicon nanoparticles. It was shown the anisotropy of NLO response of PSi films. High quality criteria FOM on the meso-PSi layers was shown. The values of the imaginary part of the cubic NLO susceptibility Im( (3)) ~ 10-2 esu for isotropic layers of oxidized PSi under continuous laser excitation was determined. This suggests a promising use of this material for manufacturing solar cells. The nominally pure KDP single crystals and single crystals with incorporated TiO2 nanoparticles (KDP:TiO2) were grown by the method of lowering the temperature. The results of X-ray analysis demonstrated that the anatase nanoparticles create one-dimensional layered structure ... KDP:TiO2:KDP ... It was shown that the introduction of nanoparticles is insignificant effect on the optical quality of the crystals. For the first time the concentration dependences of the cubic nonlinear-optical response for the different growth sectors of KDP crystals with incorporated TiO2 nanoparticles under continuous laser excitation at wavelengths 532 and 1064 nm were investigated. New method of second harmonic generation phase-matching conditions control in KDP and KDP:TiO2 was proposed. It is based on additional irradiation of the crystal with CW laser radiation at a wavelength of 532 nm.
