The primers have been designed for detection of transcripts of fusion genes bcr/abl (types e1/a3 and e1/a4) (translocation t(9;22)(q34;q11)); mll/af4 (translocation t(4;11)(q21;q23)); mll/af9 (translocation t(9;11)(p22;q23) with the aid of reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction. This technique has been used in differential diagnosis of the patients with acute leukemias. The technology for the complex diagnostics of the acute leukemias accounting for cytomorphological, cytochemical, immunophenotype and molecular biological features has been developed and implemented into clinical practice.
