The most promising to search for and exploration of precious metals in the Ukrainian Shield is a hydrothermal-metasomatic type ores, dedicated to the Archean greenstone structures. Maximum perspectives has Dnieper-structure-metallogenic zone - a typical granite-greenstone region. All known here greenstone structure (Sura, Chertomlyk etc.) contain displays of gold of different ranks. The main goal of our research was to determine the patterns of placement and ore deposits of gold in greenstone structures for example Soroky and Sura greenstone structures on the Azov and Middle-Dnieper megablock, geochemical characteristics of their enclosing volcanic rock and mineral association characterized gold metasomatites and define search criteria for gold .
