According to the specification to the contract № 1-567/11-2008 on 31.01.2008 conducted research needed to develop technology of detecting units of ionizing radiation on the basis of crystal CdZnTe. With the use of mathematical modeling method is developed for determining the parameters of charge transport in CdZnTe detectors based on their dosimetric characteristics. The main parameters are accurate calculation of dose rate created by the source of gamma radiation at a point where the detector is placed, and precision measurement of the detector counting rate at a given threshold of discrimination. The method of computer simulation study the influence of noise on the sensitivity of CdZnTe detectors operating in pulse mode, and determining acceptable level of equivalent noise charge (ENC) in dosimetry devices. Based on the amplitude spectra obtained from simulation, calculated the dependence of noise sensitivity investigated CdZnTe detectors spectrometric, and dosimetric quality assurance in gamma-ray energy 662 keV for different levels of discrimination signal. Developed design layouts detecting units of exposure dose rate (EDR) of gamma radiation: full spectrum - working in the Accounting (pulsed) mode; "emergency" - for measuring large doses employed in the Current (analog) mode.
