Significant increase in X-ray luminescence intensity of polystyrene scintillation units while adding nanoparticles to them was determined. So, at the concentration of 20 wt.% of LaPO4-Pr in the polystyrene unit, X-ray luminescence intensity increases at seven times in comparison to the "pure" polystyrene scintillator. It was shown that excitation energy in polystyrene composite of nanoparticles LaPO4-Pr to the array is transmitted by radiation way from the Pr3+ excited ion levels.
