Opportunities of the landscape indication based on the experience of the ground exrcises at the test poligons can be combined with adwantages of the modern GIS-technologies. Methodological problems are examined for the urban landscapes of Kiev megapolis, for the radioactively contaminated landscapes of Chornobyl exclusion zone, as well as for landscapes of Precarpatian pediments and Podilja plato. Study results will be applied for the further development of the ecolgical monitoring systems.
