The factors are the shape and size of antenna and the length of discharge chamber. It is shown that at conservation of character of dependency of plasma density from magnetic field the diminution of antenna diameter and lenngth of chamber leads to the increasing of the plasma density and the level of critical magnetic fields which are corresponding to the changes of longitudinal modes of helicon wave. It is revealed that the using of antennas having the small diameter with the same length at the same all conditions leads to the prevention of the excitation of the LF instabilty. It is revealed that at diminution of the chamber length at 20 % the picture of the LF instability is added by excitation of additional modes with twin frequencies. The obtained results may be used under designing and processing with helicon sources to prevent the instabilities under technological applications.
