It was shown that pulses of different duration as compared to characteristic relaxation times of two gratings can be accelerated or delayed. The method of optical diagnostics of transient layer "liquid crystal - cluster of carbon nanotubes" which is based on the analysis of intensity and polarization structure distributions was developed. By the developed method a dependence of transient layer width on applied electric field was found. For the first time the topological structures of type of inversion walls that appear between the aggregates of nanotubes or on their boundary were found. Experiments for realization of twist-structures in a liquid crystal were conducted. The cell with a twist-structure was manufactured and the origin of disclination line of LC orientation was revealed. The effect of the influence of geometrical phase (Berry phase) on properties of a wave transmitted through a cell was observed. The conflict of polarizations which appears due to a geometrical phase was detected. Applying the combined method of Stokes-polarimetry and polarization microscopy, the dynamics of orientation structure and polarization properties of cholesteric LC induced by UV sensitive steroid impurity of Provitamin D3 was investigated in details. Two types of reorientation of LC phase were ascertained, depending on relation of the thickness of LC cell and initial concentration of Provitamin D3 (or initial step of spiral).
