They consist of three parts: quality indicators of irrigation water, hydrogeological and soil. Ecology-ameliorative condition of irrigated gardens under different soil and climatic conditions of the steppe zone of Ukraine was estimated. The soils were: ordinary and southern chernozem, alkaline dark chestnut and alkaline meadow-chestnut, cinnamonic. The system of comprehensive measures to land improvement for irrigated gardening offered. It is adapted to their ecology-ameliorative condition.
