The estimation of the dynamics of basic indicators that characterize the labor market of Ukraine in view of the negative impact of financial crisis on employment, determined the impact of key macroeconomic factors on the development of the labor market. Summarized proposals for improving the mechanisms of state regulation to ensure the effective functioning of the labor market in two aspects: the creation of economic principles and effective employment strategy for solving major problems in the labor market. Areas of implementation. The results can be used by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the State Employment Service and other executive authorities in improving the mechanisms of state regulation of labor markets of mutual economic and social policy.
