The experimental method was developed and fracture resistance of composite materials was evaluated by the 3-D dispalcement fields determined by the method of digital speckl-correlation with an optimized fractional power filter. New approach to detecting internal defects in lamellar composite materials applied in aviation by the structure of normal deformation fields on the region of the investigated surface using the electron speckl-interferometry methods. The dependence between parameters k ( a ratio of specific density to the specific density of bands in the plastic deformation zone) and the values of transversal and longitudinal deformations was established. It was shown that lamination formation in a 12-layer carbon-plastic composite takes place at k=2.
