Techniques of space images thematic classification and decoding were created for multilayer geographic-information system (GIS) formation as a base tool for management by NPT sustainable development and complex estimation of their ecological state, landscape and biological diversity time history. The structure of database was created according to actual and retrospective results of ground-based investigation and Earth remote sensing. A number of biological species were selected as indicators for ecological state estimation of the West Polesie nature-protected territories. Database about population species state and time history during the period from 1982 to 2011 was created for the first time.
