A research purpose is preparation of method for experts-art critics and employees of judicial consequence bodies: development and improvement of methodical bases of conducting and setting judicial-study of art examinations of products of pornographic character. Research methods and apparatus - in the process of development the aggregate of research methods of modern theory of cognition and scientific methods which are based on them is utillized. Theoretical and practical results - 1) the question of semantic interpretation of term is reflected "pornography", 2) generalization over of expert practice is brought in Ukraine on this issue, 3) signs are certain and the criteria of taking of objects which are probed are developed, to the products of pornographic character, 4) terminology and determination in study of art examination of products of pornographic character is presented, the method of research of products of pornographic character is created. Novelty - the ways of decision of problem of divergence in determination of typical classification signs of pornographic products are first resulted, methods of its estimation. Efficiency of introduction is systematization of going near the decision of expert tasks on the study of art.
