The purpose of research is reveal effect of electromagnetic mixing of high strength wrought Al alloy of В96Ц in crystallizer of semicontinuous casting machine on the primary structure of ingots. Methods of analysis are metallographic, chemical testing, thermometric control, standard methods of investigation electromagnetic and hydrodynamic parameters. Laboratory model unit is manufactured and modelling of processes of electromagnetic mixing of Al alloy of В96Ц in crystallizer of semicontinuous casting machine is done. Main technological parameters of ingot obtaining with electromagnetic mixing of alloy of В96Ц in crystallizer of semicontinuous casting machine is established. Application field of such alloys is foundry industry.
