The program approach to the solution of the problem of retrospective analyses of sea currents in grid environment is proposed. The approach is based on the time decomposition idea. The specific program realization of proposed algorithm is carried out on the grid-sites of Marine Hydrophysical Institute of the NAS of Ukraine and Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the NAS of Ukraine in case of retrospective analyses of barotropic currents in the Sea of Azov on the time interval of 30 years. For that special PGM (POM Grid Manager) software is developed, which is supported the POM model execution in the Nordugrid-ARC environment. The interaction technology between the wind wave module and circulation one has been tuned. The technology is based on the taking into account of radiation stress in the circulation module, which has been obtained in the wind wave module. Test calculations of circulation generated by waves in the Eupatoria Bay are carried out in case of stationary winds of different directions. The grid-site of Marine Hydrophysical Institute of the NAS of Ukraine has been equipped by two extra computing nodes. As a result its pick productivity on the Linpack test has been increased up to 510 Gflops. Software of the grid-site of Marine Hydrophysical Institute of the NAS of Ukraine has been successfully tested in the Ukraine National Grid environment.
