The object of research is liberal theory as the ideological basis of the functioning of the political, legal and social institutions of Ukraine. The aim of the work is to determine the origin, nature, peculiarities of the process of approval of liberal principles and values in the modern Ukrainian politics (1991-2012 pp.) and to develop a strategy of deficiencies which hamper the continuity and effectiveness.
