A study of practical examples of implementation of the requirements of international legislation in assessing the energy efficiency of buildings and the main indicators that form the evaluation methodology. Based on the research proposed method of estimating the energy efficiency of education facilities sphere, which serves as a tool for process control of systems energy consumption and energy saving. The proposed method takes into account the peculiarities of the selected objects and provides an initial assessment of the level of efficiency of energy use and definition of objects "non-efficiency" consumption.
