The subject of study - 3 species, 1 hybrid and 17 of the cultivars of the genus Taxus L., which are presented in the collection dendropark "Alexandria" of NAS of Ukraine. The aim of the work - study bioecology the features of species, hybrids and cultivars of the genus Taxus, the assessment of their resistance to unfavorable abiotic and biotic factors, the selection of decorative species and cultivars are promising for use in landscaping. Studied bioecological peculiarities of the studied species, hybrids and cultivars of the genus Taxus. It is established, that their seasonal rhythms of growth and development is fully consistent with the weather and climatic conditions of the study area. The majority of the investigated species of winter hardy (7-8 points), drought-resistant (7 points), resistant to atmospheric pollutants (8 points) and to pests and diseases (6 points). It is established, that the most effective way of vegetative reproduction is using the "winter" ligneous cuttings in the II-III decade of April with the use of 0,5% water-alcohol solution "Charkor".
