The smelting furnaces are equipped the heaters of oxidant (air) and the convection device of preliminary heating of basaltic metal. The device is a component of the system of utilization of warmth of products of combustion of natural gas. Innovative smelting furnaces by the productivity are in two times more powerful than existent model. They provide cutting of specific costs of natural gas in 3-4 times. The general plan of researches was formed from seven phase: the variant thermodynamic analysis of the smelting furnace for melting of the basaltic metal, creation of rational flow diagram of the smelting furnaces; the creation of simulator smelting furnace with the forced cooling; the variant analysis and creation of the system of utilization of warmth of products of combustion of natural gas and equipment for its hardware implementation; development of experimentally industrial prototypes of smelting furnaces and them experimental researches; experimental and analytical researches of process of the convection heating of dense layer of basaltic metal; development of two-phase technology of melting of basaltic metal and of the industrial device for its hardware implementation.
