Aim of investigation : the level of disorders the cycle of sleep - wakefulness correlate with the stage of encephalopathy, existence of comorbite pathology, cognitive deficiency, peculiarities of psychic function disorders. It was revealed by EEG - the peculiarities of organization the stage of night sleep and the period of wakefulness in variouse variation of the cycle of sleep - wakefulness in the patients with encephalopathy. The peculiarities are determined by the degree of disturbances and identical somnogenouse mechanisms of brain that is manifested itself by the activation system of wakefulness in the sleep period and unstability in the work of cerebral mechanisms of supporting the sleep stages. Results of investigation: it was eleborated the pathogenetic complex system of medical corrective methods for prophylaxis and treatment the disorders of cycle sleep - wakefulness in the patients with encephalopathy of variouse genesis.
