Purpose: Justification forms of bank restructuring and developing recommendations for the National Bank of Ukraine for their use in the process of bank restructuring in a post-crisis recovery and development of the financial system. Object: fiscal policy and economic activities of commercial banks in a post-crisis recovery and development of the financial system. While the research used such scientific methods of comparative historical analysis (the study of international experience and the state's role in the restructuring of banking institutions, and identify patterns and trends of modern forms and methods of restructuring the banking institutions in the world), analysis and synthesis Economic Information (the study of regulatory mechanisms of the state, to ensure the stability of the banking sector of Ukraine, assessing makrokryteriyiv ??basic functioning of the banking sector of Ukraine, the study of characteristics and performance appraisal processes of restructuring in the domestic banking sector), the conceptual approach (in developing proposals to revise and supplement types and methods restructuring of banks). The study received a number of results that have a scientific and practical value: • grounded theoretical and methodological aspects of restructuring and reorganization of banks; • summarizes the world experience and the role of government in the restructuring of banking institutions; • the patterns and trends of modern forms and methods of restructuring the banking institutions in the world; • systematized and studied macro-economic aspects of mergers and acquisitions in Ukraine; • set out the strategic directions of restructuring in the banking sector of Ukraine; • assesses the effectiveness and productivity of the Ukrainian banking system, using traditional methods and the method of analysis of fronts; • investigated methodological aspects and economic and legal framework for restructuring and reorganization of domestic banks; • The methods of restructuring and reorganization of domestic banks; • A study and analysis of foreign experience to restructure the banking system; • The main areas of optimization processes of restructuring of domestic commercial banks. Key words. Restructuring, reorganization, merger, recapitalization, temporary administration capitalization. The main results of the research topic was published in 23 scientific papers, totaling 4.7 d.a, including ¬ - 11 articles in professional journals (total - 3.3 d.a).
