Analysis of recorded versions of their own personal names shows current trends in word-formation and on certain changes in the Ukrainian imennyky and comparison with variants of names of other territories gives reliable material to highlight the original features of western word-formation. Only through established fonotetsi and publishing collections of dialect texts can be analyzed phonology and syntax of the dialects. Fixed and processed material is used by teachers in both lectures and practical classes in Ukrainian dialectology. Based on the collected material was prepared special course "Operation dumb in recitative environment." For the first time in phonetic transcription dictionary dumb transferred each time his own name in different groups of western dialects, allowing this material to use and dialectologists to characterize the linguistic features of dialects.
