Differences in the mechanisms of oxidation of detonation coatings of NiAl and NiAl-Re, which is manifested in the structure and phase composition of the formed slag. It is shown that the decisive factor determining the character of oxidation of coatings being compared is the ratio of the velocities of formation of oxides of aluminum and nickel. The presence of rhenium accelerates the diffusion of nickel in the surface layers of the scale, which opens up opportunities for forming a surface layer of spinel on the mechanism of internal oxidation of the compact oxide layer, which is protective. It is established that the detonation coating NiAl-Re, along with increased fracture toughness in a satisfactory heat resistance. The influence of the structural state of the electrode materials Ni-Cr-Al and Ni-Cr-NiAl, obtained by sintering, casting and pulsed hot pressing on their properties and the properties of electric-spark coatings of these materials. It is shown that the most disperse structure of the electrode material is formed in the alloy, obtained by pulsed hot pressing. This results in higher values of wear resistance and heat resistance of the electrode materials, as well as an increase in the average mass transfer coefficient up to 50% in the electric-spark alloying of 45 steel and titanium alloys. Investigated the properties of coatings obtained by high-speed air-fuel spraying, which showed that the coatings have a porosity of 1%, adhesive strength over 50 MPa, which corresponds to the quality of the best examples of nickel aluminides coatings deposited by other thermal spray methods, including high-speed oxy-fuel spraying.
