The purpose of work is to develop the basics of a technological process and to conduct experimental and industrial check-up of efficiency of the electrodischarge disintegration of silicon with necessary level of fractional components and treatment purity. As a result of conducted theoretical and experimental research with use of a sieve and optical-microscopic granulometric analysis, the feasibility of use of a pulse high-voltage electric discharge in water for silicon disintegration having a preset quality level. Diagrams of force stressing of the treatable material are determined, as well as modes and parameters of an electric discharge allowing for the preset fractional composition of the output product. Constructive safety measures are suggested to protect raw materials against dirt during treatment; the discharge chamber is developed and made; experimental and industrial check-up of the process is conducted. The relevance of this topic is that recommendations are developed and grounded for making of the technological process with use of an electric discharge providing for a controllable (selective) disintegration of silicon with the preset fraction composition and minimum overgrinding rate not exceeding 5%.
