The purpose of this stage is the research of the output of carbon nanomaterials depending on the modes of power input, structure and properties of raw materials and catalysts. It is experimentally established that dosing the energy in a pulse from 10 to 110 J leads to change of ratio between an output of solid fraction and the quantity of substance that transforms to gas due to plasmochemical reactions. Conditions are determined for the increased efficiency of raw materials recycling and possibility of phase composition control of products of electrodischarge synthesis of carbon nanomaterials are determined, and also the necessity to withdraw the formed gases from the working area of the electrodischarge reactor to provide for stationary conditions of electrodischarge process of synthesis of carbon nanomaterials from liquid hydrocarbons. Use of adamantane powder as a precursor which was dissolved in liquid cycloalkanes and exposed to electrodischarge treatment together with raw materials, leads to formation in a powdered product of new allotropic forms of carbon, such as carbon nanotubes and nanofibers which at electrodischarge treatment of pure raw materials were unobserved. It is established that simultaneous use of oxide-silicon and nickel-chromic catalytic surfaces leads to selective sedimentation of carbon nanomaterials with different structural characteristics. Use of a substrate with a covering from transition metals and catalytic surfaces containing transition metals leads to a selective growth of mainly carbon nanotubes and nanofibers. Use of oxide-silicon catalytic surfaces promotes formation of carbon films containing a diamond phase. Product Description popup.authors Баклар В.Ю. Зубенко О.О. Корзинова А.М. Малюшевська А.П.
