A research object is terminology of the system of the combat training of Ground forces of Military powers of Ukraine. A purpose of work is development of project of military standard the “Combat training of troops. Basic terms and determinations”. A research method is an analysis of the state of businesses in terminology which touches the combat training, there are defects and contradictions in relation to presentation of terms and determinations of concepts in a normative document and literature. A method of analysis is system generalization. The improvement of the system of preparation of Ground forces of Military powers of Ukraine was begun with proclamation of independence of Ukraine. From preparation of troops we began reform not on blank space. Military powers of Ukraine had the system of preparation with large historical experience and traditions of studies, large enough scientifically pedagogical potential, well-prepared in a professional relation officer shots and developed navchal'no-metodichnoy base. Presently the combat training of troops, major constituent of general preparation, is in the process of transformation. Achievement of the unique understanding of purpose and measures of transformation of the system of preparation of troops on all of levels of military management foresees the necessity of creation of compatible terminology from the combat training. One of perspective directions of the this job processing there is introduction in the system of the combat training of troops of soldiery standards from terminology of the combat training which will provide an improvement and development of the system of the combat training. Without regard to an existent normative base, plenty of present methodical manuals on questions of the combat training in Ground forces of Military Powers of Ukraine exact, scientifically grounded terminology absents in the system of the combat training. The unsettled state of terminology hinders the mutual understanding who teaches those and those which study, to creation of the unique methods of studies of servicemen, negatively influences on preparation of servicemen and introduction of the newest technologies of studies. Important direction of improvement of terminology in the system of the combat training in our view is bringing organization over and maintenance of studies accordingly with national educational standards. Terms and their determinations must answer a current legislation. The modern state of terminology base is in-process analysed on questions of the combat training in Ground forces of Military Powers of Ukraine. Absence of the unique looks is set to the terms and determination in the system of the combat training, and also certainly disparity of some terms and their determination, to the current legislation. In addition, attention is in-process accented on, that copulas of Ukrainian ZS are with the armies of leading countries of the world, and also the studies of their experience from organization of the combat training need arrangement of military terminology and pidboru of foreign equivalents of soldiery terms. Next to that certainly, that application of terminology of NATO must enrich our terminology and be not the ordinary borrowing of separate terms. Automatic transference of stereotype of the American pictures of organization of preparation of troops can result in twisting of the veritable state of affairs, erroneous looks in relation to organization of the combat training. Divergences are possible in terminology explained that every state, it military organization and theory and practice of art of war have it objectively, inherent only to this state terminology system. On the basis of analysis of existent terminology base on questions of the combat training in Ground forces of Military Powers of Ukraine in-process grounded necessity of development of soldiery standards from terminology of the combat training, suggestions are given in relation to determination of basic terms from the combat training, a structure and maintenance of project of military standard is offered and the project of military standard is developed: «Combat training of troops.
