In work features of teksturno-coloristic and consumer characteristics of jaspers and jasperoids from the Ukraine which are connected with effusive, sedimentary rokc and aeration barks in borders of territory of Ukraine are considered. It is described their mineralogical and a chemical compound, ability to processing and perspective ways of their practical use and as the catalog of images is made are defined. Look-ahead assumptions that before development of object of research - results research scientific work will be used in State Gemmological Centre of Ukraine for optimization and improvement of procedure of carrying out of examination of a semiprecious stone, for granting of consultations and explanations accordingly to ч.4 item 15 to the Law of Ukraine "About state regulation of extraction, manufacture and use of precious metals and jewels and control of operations over them" from November, 18th 1997 № 637/97-ВР and, as item 2 of the decision of the Office of the Minister of Ukraine, from 07.03.1993г. № 713 "About creation State Gemmological Centre of Ukraine ".
