The grounds of instrumental diagnostics methodology were elaborated during the reference period for natural, treated and synthetic precious stones after their infrared curves as well as list, sequence and substance of expert actions were determined. Methodology approval is carried out. Referral database of precious stones infrared spectra is extended. Creation of this database started within the research work "Catalogue of precious stones infrared spectra creation" in 2009.
