Young's modulus, the theoretical strength, coefficient of thermal expansion as well as components of composites in the systems LaB6-MeB2 (Me-Ti, Zr, Hf, ...) were calculated on the basis of pseudopotential method. A new theory of penetration in elastic-plastic and elastic-brittle materials with elastic shock-deformed nucleus and erodes coating was developed. A new models of penetration resistance of damaged glass and ballistic equations of motion of drummers in the glass were constructed and were studied.
