Karazin popup.description2 The objects of the investigation are the surface cyclotron O-modes spreading along the boundary of inhomogeneous magnetoactive plasmas and dielectric, the fast magnetosonic waves used for additional plasma heating, and the dielectric materials used in fusion devices. The aims of the investigation are the following: the study of characteristics of the surface cyclotron O-modes in inhomogeneous magnetoactive plasma; the estimation of plasma volumes, supported by propagation of these modes, using energy balance equations; the study of the different ion species effect on the mode damping; the investigation of the efficiency of the fast magnetosonic wave conversion into shortwave perturbation in the presence of admixture ions to enhance the plasma heating in the regime of mode conversion, the experimental investigation of plasma influence on the dialectical materials. The problem was solved by means of analytical treatment and numerical simulation. The experimental investigations are provided by methods of optical spectroscopy and X-ray structural analysis. The analytical models of the surface cyclotron O-modes propagation in the inhomogeneous magnetoactive plasmas and the fast magnetosonic wave in high temperature plasmas with admixtures were developed. The efficiency of energy transfer from O-mode surface waves to plasma due to plasma particle collisions and the interaction with plasma surface were analyzed. The impact of the admixture ions on the surface waves damping is established. The effect the thermonuclear plasma composition on the efficiency of the fast magnetosonic wave conversion into shortwave perturbation was analyzed. There were revealed the main mechanisms of defect formation in dielectric materials which influence on the functional properties under plasma influence. The results of this work can be used in the development and implementation of new methods of high temperature plasma heating and also in the development of new plasma technologies.
