We have used clinical, hematological, cytogenetic, molecular-genetic, immunological methods. A significant percentage (> 50%) patients with resistance to inhibitors of tyrosinkinase (TKI) have been determined. We found the significant increase of CD33 +, CD34 + cells expressing transmembrane glycoprotein Pgp-170 in patients with CML who have marked resistance to TKI therapy.
